“The On-Camera Acting Class” prepares you to meet the challenges of a successful Film and Television career. It is here that we “take dreams seriously” and we expect that you do too.

The class emphasizes and harnesses the internal “fire” of the actor so that their work will be bold and memorable. Students work on prepared, semi-prepared and cold readings in a rotating cycle. Students work on-camera with video playback at least 3 out of every 4 weeks. In addition the class mixes in improvisations and experiential exercises specifically designed to “ignite” the actors imagination and emotional expressiveness. You learn here how do make bold choices for your character, using imagination, sense-memory and sense-fantasy. In addition, students are expected to set specific career goals and report monthly on their progress.

When the actor knows specifically what they want in the scene, and specifically what they want in their career, they can make their dreams come true. The motto here is “specificity breeds success”.
